When fees are refundable, when they are not, and how cancellations work. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
The consultation fee secures your scheduled call and the time we spend preparing for and conducting it. Because it pays for a service performed at a set time, it is non-refundable once the consultation has taken place. If you proceed with a full package, this fee is deducted from your total.
The document review fee covers the work of reviewing your document set. It is refundable up until we begin the review. Once review work has started, it is non-refundable. If you proceed with a full package, this fee is deducted from your total.
For application management and other package services, refund terms depend on the pricing model you choose:
The exact terms applicable to your engagement are confirmed in writing in your service agreement before work begins.
Fees paid to third parties — such as embassy visa fees (€120), tuition, translation, apostille/legalisation, and the residency-card fee — are set and collected by those bodies and are outside our control. We cannot refund them. Their refund rules apply.
Because admission, visa, and residence decisions are made by universities and authorities and not by us, an unsuccessful outcome does not by itself entitle you to a refund of fees for work we have already performed. Where a success-based model applies, the success fee is simply not charged.
If you are an EU consumer, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for services purchased at a distance. By asking us to begin work within this period, you acknowledge that you may lose this right once the service is fully performed, and that for partly performed services you may owe a proportionate amount. [Confirm this wording with your legal adviser for your jurisdiction.]
